Hill+Knowlton Strategies named 5th Great Place to Work in the UAE
“I’m immensely proud to be part of this culture that our colleagues have created, no matter where they’re working from”
Sunday April 12 – DUBAI, UAE: Hill+Knowlton Strategies (H+K), one of the world’s leading public relations firms, has been named as one of the most inspiring places to work in the UAE for a second consecutive year by Great Place To Work® Middle East, ranking H+K as the 5th best company to work in.
Announced from a shortlist of hundreds of companies across the region, H+K was confirmed as the leading communications agency in the survey, which is taken from employee feedback and audits across management teams and HR leads.
H+K, with almost 200 employees across their offices in the UAE, was ranked in the top ten last year by Great Place To Work® Middle East. H+K’s climb to the top five is a notable movement on the list, with metrics including the highest overall score out of all companies on “camaraderie” and improvements in “credibility’ and ‘respect’.
Celebrating H+K’s achievement, CEO for the Middle East, Turkey, India and Africa (METIA) region, Bashar AlKadhi, commented:
“To be recognized as a great place to work for a second consecutive year is credit to all of our colleagues who make H+K such an inspiring place of work with a culture that runs deep.
“We could not be prouder. It’s not about muffins, smoothies and fresh fruit (although we do have these!) – it’s about inclusion and open lines of communication at all levels; a no blame culture; colleagues supporting each other during good and challenging times; and empowering colleagues with responsibility as well as accountability towards each other and our clients.”
Great Place to Work® is a global research, training and consultancy firm that awards the best workplaces in over 50 countries worldwide. Great Place to Work® Middle East conducts an evaluation for participating companies across a broad spectrum of industries, with employees taking part in a survey with questions related to their attitudes on metrics including management’s credibility, employee engagement and job satisfaction. Scoring is also based on the company’s responses to the Institute’s Culture Audit©, which includes detailed questions about pay and benefits programs and a series of open-ended questions about hiring, communication, and development.
