markettiers MENA grows team with two new Account Managers

International broadcast specialist consultancy markettiers MENA has announced the appointment of two new Account Managers, Nour Aboulaban and Olivia Simpson. Both have been officially appointed as part of the business since the start of October 2020 and bring a combined 13 years of communications experience.

Nour Aboulaban is an experienced PR professional with particular focus in consumer and lifestyle sectors. She is fluent in both Arabic and English and will be supporting and servicing the agency’s growing Arabic client portfolio. Nour joins with over eight years of experience having worked across leading and international PR agencies based in Dubai, including Edelman and MSL.

Commenting on her appointment, Nour, said: “markettiers has been on my radar for more than two years so I wanted to be a part of this ambitious family. I’m thrilled that I finally reached my goal, and it’s just the beginning of an interesting journey. Since I first heard of markettiers as the broadcast specialists’, I knew this is where I wanted to be because of the forward vision of the agency. The whole PR industry is evolving and is moving towards broadcasting, and markettiers is the pioneer in this area. It’s a learning curve for me and I look forward to delivering winning projects with the team”.

Olivia Simpson joins markettiers with consumer and lifestyle PR experience from agency and in-house roles in both Dubai and London. Having had experience across technology, hospitality, travel and F&B brands, both regionally and internationally, Olivia joins with over five years of experience. She will be supporting on broadcast-driven campaigns and consumer activations at markettiers, across a range of industry sectors, including creative consultancy across content creation, managing the production and delivery of content and targeted media relations.

On her appointment, Olivia, commented: “It’s been such a pleasure to work with the markettiers team and get immediately involved with the innovative broadcast and digital led campaigns and projects which they are well-known for delivering. I’m looking forward to continuing to learn from their approach and bringing my own experience and passion into the mix. It’s refreshing to be a part of an agency who are forward thinking and who embraces unique storytelling strategies.”

Both appointments build on markettiers’ investment into growing the MENA business and follows a number of new account and project wins to its portfolio.

markettiers is now in its sixth year of operation in the region, with a heritage of 30 years globally. 2020 has marked a year of firsts for the business, which has seen the company deliver end-to-end podcast campaigns for governmental and blue chip brands as part of its role as podcast strategists, as well as virtual live streaming campaigns both in Saudi Arabia and for the UAE for organisations including the WHO to stem the spread of the pandemic in Africa.
